Sort of. Collin wrote and illustrated his first book in under 10 minutes. It will soon be published and sold on Amazon.com, but you get the first sneak peek here. It's a gripping tale of a young man and his love for all things that go by. Enjoy!

Existential. Haunting.
I was anticipating the dramatic climax in which the plane comes by and sucks the birds into its engines. I'm glad it had a happy ending.
You're such an asshole Brustad, why didn't you put it behind an LJ cut that said "SPOILER ALERT"?
Collin's book is full of win!
When I was in first grade, I wrote & illustrated my own little book ("The Haunted Car"). I even made a cover for it out of construction paper, stapling it all together. It was put on display in my school's library with the tag "Young Author." One of my proudest moments. So, here's a toast to Collin the Young Author!
"The book was actually a painstaking process" Brustad said recently in an interview.
"My editor and I had some creative differences but ultimately I'm happy with the results and hope everyone enjoys the message". Brustad is currently working on his second book "Gadgets and Buttons: Let Us Fulfill Their Purpose".
