Huzzah!!!

Yesterday, as I was sickly laying on the couch, I watched a documentary called Darkon.  It's about group of people that create a real-life dungeons and dragons-esque world in Baltimore.

And I thought the Ren Festers were strange.

I went to a Ren Fest once . . . once.
The only thing I enjoyed was throwing rotten tomatoes at the head of some dummy that stuck his head through a cut-out circle in a plank of plywood. I should have known though. Using the fact that I don't like people in general, I should have assumed that I wouldn't like people dressed up in Ren attire and speaking in Ren tongue.
Darkon's wouldn't be any different. To each their own, but keep your 'own' away from my 'own'.

You should hear what the Ren Festers have to say about you, Jared.

I saw that documentary. It's good to be enthusiastic about your interests and hobbies, but these people take it way too far. I was amused by the pair of "real-life" friends who ended their friendship over one's choice to "defect" from their "army" and socialize with another "army". If it looks like a geek and it talks like a geek.....

Hello Jared,

Thanks for the information. It was great talking to you. As always, I demand more of your time and sooner.
